Starting point
So where do we
start? back at the basics? or at prayer? or at the existing plan, or
Vision or Pastors wishes or Secretary/ or a deacon/s pet theories or
all of them?
May be you know
what you want but how to get there?
Its not about
targets?
Its not about
submissiveness?
Its not about
bulldozing?
Its about
agreement its about consensus.
When a Youth goes
in to a job for the first time you don't empower them you instruct
them.
As they develop
you review and instruct and ask how they see it and how they might
develop the role and the job? As time progresses one can take the
hand off the tiller and seek consensus with them. ( but the
responsibility is still yours).
But, leadership
should seek consensus in their meetings and in Member Meetings.
