So here we are after a few months of chatting and getting together we are established as a collective for Music Worship and Praise in the Highlands. here is a core group of 4/5 with the potential of adding more for various projects. Dertails of name and contacts will be out soon.

Risen 2022

Delighted with the success of the Easter 2022 on u tube sent out live last Sunday night. As the band with a name change gets set up we are delighted with Risen Media Highlands who have instigated this project for the Highlands. You can see the u tube here .

On the road !

It has been a busy time preparing for a little tour of the Highlands mostly, with John Wilson Brian Skinner and Jimmy Gunn.We have several dates over the next few weeks.

Encouraged that I am on the road aagain with John Alexander Wilson, Jimmy Gunn, and Brian Skinner starting next month with some gigs in early February.

FTSE 500

I noted in the last few days the FTSE 500 is as high as it was pre COVID. Usually there is an increase over the Christmas period into new year.

Writers' Hub Inverness

Tomorrow is the first full writers 'hub meeting in Inverness. It will be starting at 9.30 in the Hub at the Baptist Church on Castle Street. I am taking my laptop a flask of coffee and a biscuit or two.

Bogallan accident and observations

Sounds like there was a major accident between Kessock and Tore roundabout last night. My trip to Alness was cancelled. 

Big headache for the police. I could see impatient drivers … not such a sleepy Highlands as I remembered.

The large roundabout at Inches is up for a revamp.

Now that is good but I can see in the last few months those driving in the Inverness area are  not keen to stop on roundabouts and many just push  on regardless. The south by pass is particularly hazardous and I fear for more accidents or bumps. Now the holidaymakers are away it’s clear it’s locals. 

Come on folks slow down 10 seconds pause will not make any difference to your day and might help your blood pressure.

 

Speed limits of 20 30 40 are the maximums and probably not the rate for going round roundabouts.

Drive with concern for others.

New book- premise to the read and your challenge

 In case you have not got round to looking at my book, let me explain the premise of it. There are several stories some/all that may be true or partially true.

On completion of the read you decide which are completely true.

 

 

 

It would be interesting to see which ones you get right.

Most of the stories are in the Highlands and topical. The book is only available on Amazon kindle and you can find a link on the blog siteon the right. 

No spoilers here but you may need to do research to get the answers to which one/s are completely true. All the best in your quest should you take it up.
